Because our program is so 1-1 focused, we can typically find someone to teach any technology you want to learn. We have a bench of 15+ coaches that we tap to ensure students have a great match.

Clay University is Clay’s free, self-paced learning resource — great for getting started with Clay basics. Clay Bootcamp is a premium 1-on-1 training program where you build real projects with expert coaches, get plugged into our private network, and receive mentorship from top agency CEOs.
Many students study Clay University before joining us, and we recommend it as a foundation. The Bootcamp takes you much further — into real project work, career building, and a community that opens doors.
Because we’re so focused on custom 1-1 training, you can typically start a few days after admissions, provided we have capacity.
Yes, you can pause as needed. We encourage you to do this as needed, keeping in mind that momentum is also important.
Accomplished GTMEs sometimes join just for the opportunities, but if you have ideas of advanced things you want to learn, we can likely help you, due to being able to match you with great-fit coaches based on your specific use cases and goals.
Beginners often join us, which is great. We just ask that you’re sure that you want to commit to becoming a GTME before committing to Bootcamp, as it’s a significant investment (time, money) for most people.
Sometimes people worry about burning up valuable coaching hours on the basics – if you’re sure you want to join, consider joining to get access to the network, but push your Bootcamp start date a few weeks into the future, and study Clay University and Eric Nowoslawski’s YouTube videos before starting your 1-1 coaching.
Yes! It’s fairly common for co-founders or teammates to join together. We typically train both separately on different projects, with access to each others’ workspaces.
We are the most intensive GTME bootcamp that exists, and we customize the program heavily towards your goals.
Because you get so much 1-1 attention and customization on many fronts, the price reflects that, but the price is generally in line with other top bootcamps in other industries.
As with anything, time is very important – this is why we only let students in who can commit a minimum of 10 hours per week for the duration of the bootcamp.
At least a moderate level of technical ability is important, too. This is different than technical experience, and it tends to dictate the pace of learning and the ultimate level that someone can reach.
Technical experience and sales experience are nice ‘edges’ that can give you a head start, but aren’t strictly necessary. Sales experience will generally help you get a faster start with your agency sales, and technical skills help you deliver faster and better.
Finally, attention to detail, conscientiousness, enthusiasm, and a collaborative mindset help a lot, too.
I (Nathan Lippi) had a background in development/engineering and growth marketing. After quitting my job at PandaDoc, I started a GTM Engineering agency with a few other guys before the industry had a name.
I discovered Clay, was hooked, and eventually went out on my own! We started teaching people Clay + a little code, and over time the company has evolved into something much bigger than just me, with an incredible community.
